We spent an amazing weekend in "Perryville" with Elijah's family celebrating the life of Elijah's younger cousin, Cedric Perry, who left this earth in 2011. This is an annual family event filled with live music, fried catfish, spicy Louisiana crawfish and family fun times. The highlight of the evening was when the cousins surprised Aunt Betty (the matriarch of Perryville) with a donation to the Cedric Perry Foundation. The presentation started with a speech and ended with everyone dancing to the K-Wang song. Aunt Betty was totally surprised!!!!! She is such a strong woman that has endured so much, despite all her trials her faith is still strong in the Lord.
