August 2012: Back 2 School & Louisiana Trip

Yesterday was soo much fun!!!!  It was all about going Back to School.  The kids had breakfast at the local donut shop and then they came back home for the Back 2 School Neighborhood parade.  After the parade Alyssa and Reagan (cousin) went to the hair salon to get their back to school "hair do".  We came home and had our Back 2 School lunch celebration and then went to meet our teachers for the 2012-2013 school year.  WHAT AN AWESOME DAY!!!!!!!!!

This past Sunday was Elijah's birthday.  We went out to eat at Chili's and came home for cake and ice cream.  Alyssa was afraid the house would burn down when we lit the candles for Elijah's cake.  She said that he had too many candles on his cake. lol

The kids spent last week in Louisiana.  They were with my parents on Sunday and the remainder of the week with Elijah's parents. They had  blast.  

  My mom's birthday was yesterday, Elijah's birthday was Sunday and one of my dear friends, Jennifer turned 40 last week.  She is the first person in my friendship circle to turn 40. She is FABULOUS, FIT AND 40.  Happy Birthday guys.  I love you!  XOXOXOXO
