HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY ALYSSA

In case you guys didn't  know, my daughter Alyssa thinks that her birthday should be a national holiday.  She talks about her birthday plans all year long.  This year I decided that she would not have a party.  We planned a family day instead. It actually turned out great, but she worked my nerves ALL DAY LONG!!!!! She woke up at 5:30 am ready to go, so we went to the balloon festival at 6:30. We came home around 10:00 and had birthday donuts and then we went to get mani/pedi's with Nia (God Sister) and Reagan (cousin).  We ended the day with an early dinner at Rainforest Cafe. I am totally exhausted.  My back is hurting and I am tired, but I am writing this blog for Alyssa because she wants her family and friends to know that today was the best day ever. Although she made me mad several times today, her bedtime prayers brought tears to my eyes.  She thanked God for me & Elijah, our jobs and the gifts that she received today.  Hopefully my sweet Alyssa returns tomorrow.  Maybe she was just having a Birthday Diva moment.

Daniel lost his first tooth last weekend.  Actually his granny pulled it.  He was so excited.

BREAKING AWANA NEWS::  Daniel was able to recite John 3:16 and tell his teacher what the verse means to him.   He finally received his sparks vest and Hanglider book.  Elijah and I are sooo proud of him.

I celebrated my 20th year class reunion last weekend.  It was sooo much fun.  So grateful that God allowed us to get together.

Here is a 1st day of school picture for those of you who don't have a fb account.

Goodnite guys!!!  I have to work tomorrow.  You know it is not going to be a good day when they call for help 24hrs before the shift starts.  Oh well, I am praying for a good day tomorrow anyway.  Thanks again for reading our family blog. See ya next time :-)
